Walk down the right alleyway — Via Santo Spirito, Via Bagutta, any of the narrow passages that cut between the palazzos — and you'll find a gate. Wrought iron, centuries old, its bars bent into geometric patterns that frame a glimpse of the private garden beyond. The quatrefoil appears everywhere in these gates: four rounded lobes joined at the center, a form borrowed from the Gothic cathedral and pressed into iron by craftsmen who understood that even a barrier could be beautiful.

This pendant carries both. The silhouette is the quatrefoil from Milan's courtyard gates — the geometry that kept the city's hidden gardens private. The diamonds that accent each point come from the Duomo itself, whose facade is studded with thousands of carved stone ornaments, each one a small obsession. Together they make a pendant that rewards the people who look closely, the ones who turn down the alleyway instead of staying on the main street.
