Notre-Dame’s Rose Windows and the Paris Pendant

Notre-Dame’s Rose Windows and the Paris Pendant

The Paris pendant began with the rose windows of Notre-Dame. Their detail spreads out from the center, with each small section fitting into a larger circle. The pendant follows that arrangement in open filigree.

On the matte gold vermeil Paris pendant, diamonds sit at the center, around the outer ring, and on the bail. At approximately 28 mm across, the piece has room for those details without becoming a large medallion.

A plain chain lets you see the filigree clearly. A chain with larger links gives the same pendant a different look. If you’re buying it to wear with a necklace you already own, check that the clasp will pass through the bail.

Other finishes

Paris also comes in oxidized sterling silver and yellow gold. Compare the available options on each product page; the metal changes how the small details stand out.

The vermeil pendant’s chain is sold separately. Browse Chains or email Kirsten for help choosing one. Paris is one of the three designs in Signature Pendants, alongside Milan and Barcelona.
