A courtyard gate can be easy to walk past. In Milan, the ironwork is worth a closer look: curved lines, repeated shapes, and glimpses of the space behind it. Those gates, together with the Duomo, inspired the Milan pendant.
Its outline is a quatrefoil, a shape with four rounded lobes. The open center keeps that outline visible, while natural diamonds add detail around it. You can recognize the shape before you’re close enough to see each stone.
Which Milan?
The 32 mm Milan pendant comes in gold vermeil and oxidized sterling silver, with matte and polished finishes. Matte has a softer surface; polished reflects more light. Choose the finish you’re drawn to in the photographs and the metal you like wearing.
There is also a Milan pendant in gold and a larger, 50 mm Milan Medallion. If you’re deciding between sizes, compare those measurements with a pendant you own. The medallion is nearly two inches across.
Chains are sold separately. Browse Chains, or email Kirsten for help with a pairing. You’ll find Milan alongside Paris and Barcelona in Signature Pendants.
