The Barcelona pendant comes from a particular piece of ironwork at Casa Golferichs in the city’s Eixample district. Its inner circle and crossing lines sit inside an outer ring, with open spaces between them.
Those spaces are part of what makes the pendant distinctive. Against skin or a simple top, you can see the pattern clearly. Natural pavé diamonds follow the lines without filling in the design.
Small, medium, or large
The Barcelona pendant in matte gold vermeil comes in 24 mm, 30 mm, and 36 mm sizes. If you usually wear a small necklace, start by comparing the 24 mm version with a pendant you own. The larger sizes make the same pattern more prominent.
There are also versions in oxidized sterling silver and 14K gold. Look at the photographs in each finish before deciding; the darker silver and the gold give the lines quite different emphasis.
